Swimmers are some of the most dedicated athletes in sport. Our swimming
'dry-land' workout will give swimmers the tools to help increase their speed and
stamina in the pool, as well as reduce the chance of injury. Our program
focuses on shoulder and core strength to improve performance in the water.
It also includes plyometrics and explosive lower body strength to give you the
edge out of the blocks. Finally, our signature 'dry-land' conditioning
program will make sure you are kicking while everyone else is fading. We
lay out everything step by step in our 12 week program. All you have to

In just 2 years with Coach Horton at the helm of the FIU throwers strength and conditioning,
we reached new levels of success and set the bar higher in our conference and the nation. 8
All-Conference honors, 2 Conference Champions, 5 School Records, 7 Freshman School Records, a
Conference Freshman of the Year, 2 Conference Records, 2 National Qualifiers and 1 All-American.
The bar has been raised and without Coach Horton, this doesn't happen.
